Olusegun Omisakin, Ph.D.

Transformational Change-maker with Proven Success in Evidence-based Development Research and Solutions.

I consult for impact-driven organisations,  businesses, governmental agencies and development institutions.

Hi. I’m Olusegun Omisakin, a development economist, macroeconomic modeller and private sector development strategist based in Lagos, Nigeria.

I am a value-driven expert, scholar, author and change-maker with over 15 years of professional experience. I have also led major transformational changes with proven success in a wide variety of high-level strategic economic research, engagements and solutions.

I serve as the Chief Economist and Director of Research & Development at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (an economic/data think tank), where I lead and provide strategic direction for research & development.

We have both worked together in building macro-econometric models for short- and medium-term forecasts as well as in using Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models for perspective planning. I am always impressed by his superior CGE skills and ability to turn out research papers on time without compromising quality.
